S.I.M APPROACH TO LEARNING MATHEMATICS

When i coined out the word SIM, it simply means Spaghetti.......Indomie...... macaroni methods of teaching mathematics.

I found out that pupils/students generally all have deep rooted fear for the subject called MATHEMATICS.
I developed some diagnostic methods of finding out students areas of weakness or where they have the particular ailment. I find out the fear factor.
These range from
1. Poor background in arithemetic.

2. Poor teaching background from the early teachers in the primary school.

3. Home background - dad or mum excusing such pupil saying 'I was just like you when i was young'.

4. In ability of teachers to take the pupil from know to the unknown rudiment of mathematics.

5. Lack of motivation.

Using  what they like to catch their interest. In using spaghetti approach i used the foodthey loved to give assignment. The simplest sums is indomie, the nest is macaroni and the hardest is spag. Hope to talk more about this soonest. I welcome you to mr.spagheeti series of lectures.
Thanks.
