I began my teaching career as an auxiliary teacher, working as a teacher-assistant with Government Secondary School, Henshaw Town, Calabar, Nigeria. After my first degree, i became a graduate assistant and worked as an assistant lecturer, teaching Drama and Society, Acting and Educational Drama in the Theater Arts Department of the University of Abuja, Nigeria. I left to work as an English language, Literature in English and Drama instructor at Chelston International Secondary School, Abuja. I have taught English, Literature in English, Drama and various tertiary institution courses in many primary, secondary and tertiary institutions including the prestigious University of Leeds, United Kingdom, Stella Maris College, Abuja, the University of Abuja, Nigeria, Beckfoot School, Bingley, England, College of Education, Abuja and the Regent School, Abuja, Nigeria. I held administrative posts as Assistant Principal in the National Institute of Secretaries and Administrators, Abuja; i was also vice principal (academics) at Apostolic International School, Abuja. I have been secretary of the Learning, Curriculum and Professional Development Team of the Regent Secondary School (TRSS). Prior to joining LBIS as Head of Secondary, i was the Head of House at the Regent Secondary School and worked as the assistant head of pastoral. I have also been unofficially the acting head of pastoral at TRSS for two academic terms. I took charge of the secondary section of LBIS as head in September, 2013.
I am a prolific writer. I have written or co-authored about 40 books and over 15 articles/presentations. I have also coordinated teacher education development projects for many organisations, schools and institutions.
