About me
I am Sunday Imaji popularly known as Señor Domingo. I am from Kogi State-Nigeria, but I am Argentine by heart. A lot of people see me as a teacher from birth, but the truth is I was a born learner, and somewhere along the way I learned how to teach.
In 2013, I obtained the C.E.A (advanced Spanish certificate) from the Prestigious Instituto de Enseñanza en ‘’Lenguas Vivas’’ Juan Ramon Fernandez in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I also obtained a BS.C in Political Science from the National Open University of Nigeria. I have been teaching since 2016.
The first thing I do at the beginning of every class is a warm up activity which I call “The Starter”. The main purpose of the starter is: to get students in the mood for the class even before it starts.
Another important aspect for me is to study my students thoroughly and adopt a method that is more effective for them. I believe that a key element in the foreign language classroom is keeping the students motivated. I teach with a contagious smile and open personality that helps me to interact with my students as I guide them through their learning process.
