About me
My name is Oluwaseun Abiodun Koleosho. I have a Masters in Educational Psychology and School Counseling from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. I also have a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Benin, Nigeria.
Over the past eight years, I have worked in an elementary school. I started my career as a classroom teacher first in the nursery classes, and then moved on to the primary classes. I then became the head teacher and was also involved in administrative work. As the head teacher of the school, I provided training for staff in areas of classroom management and learning disabilities.
Due to my area of discipline I was actively involved in behaviour modification and counseling of pupils. I also have experience with working actively with children with a variety of learning disabilities such as, attention deficit disorder (ADD), hand-eye coordination, dysgraphia, dyslexia and dyspraxia.
I pride myself in creating a classroom environment that accommodates the needs of my pupils while still promoting a high level of critical thought, problem solving and writing skills. Some of my most satisfying experience as a teacher has come from helping struggling students to grasp difficult concepts through a combination of individual conferences, class activities and group discussions.
