About me

I'm a graduate of petroleum engineering, With high analytical skills, advanced sound Knowledge of Mathematical and numerical courses. My strengths are, disciplined, prepared, friendly with new technology, friendly with students, a good environment creator and motivator.
My teaching approach is as follows,
1) Firstly I create an effective class opener.
The first five minutes of the class period, I set the tone for the entire lesson. Ideally,I start by sharing the agenda for the class period so that students will know the expectations for what will be occurring during the duration of the class.
2) The next approach is by Introducing the topics using multiple representations.
The more types of representations that i can present to students addressing their different learning styles, the more likely they will truly understand the concept being presented. Different representations could include using manipulatives, showing a picture, drawing out the problem, and offering a symbolic representation.
3) Also I solve mathematical problems many ways by showing the students different ways to solve the same problem and encourage the students to come up with their own creative ways to solve them. The more strategies and approaches that students are exposed to, the deeper their conceptual understanding of the topic becomes.
4) Moreover I love students communicating their reasoning.
My students need to explain their reasoning when solving problems. In order for me as a tutor to determine if every student truly understands the objective for the class period, it's necessary for each student to communicate both orally and in writing. By giving the class ten minutes to discuss their reasoning with me pertaining the topic while exploring multiple ways of solving the problems, you'll promote excellent engagement and learning. It's not always easy to get students talking in class, but there are ways to encourage them do so.
5) Also I finish a class with a summary.
A student can get lost in the class period, and it's easy to lose track of time until the time elapsed and class is over. The final seven minutes might be the most critical in making sure that students have understood the day's learning objective. You can use this time to accomplish three very important things: such as
(A) A quick formative assessment to determine how much was learned, such as students self-rating their comfort with the concept on a 1-5 scale
(B) Reviewing the objective for the class period and brief discussion as to where the lesson will go next time
(C) Previewing the homework together to avoid any confusion

Economics - details about teaching experience:

One of the most effective way to teach and to increase student interest in economics is by applying economics analysis to issues that students find particularly relevant in life.
Teacher has the greatest potential to influence the student’s education, while a student achievement is related to teacher’s competence in using different methods of teaching. Thus, students achieve more when teachers employ systematic teaching procedures that make teaching and learning processes easier. In other words,
