Having just over a year of work experience in tutoring, I have developed an adequate level of knowledge in the various teaching methods which includes lecturing, demonstrating, collaborating, class room discussions and classroom action research.
Some of the main achievements I had while working in my previous places of employments that are relevant to you specifically and prove the value I can add to your school are as follows
• Elevated a good number of average student’s scores on standardized test by giving them a few extra lessons.
• Created lesson plans that were successful in engaging students and making learning for them fun.
• Led and coordinated after school programs and extracurricular activities.
• Was able to improve parental involvement for some of my students.
In addition to all these, the nature of my job has taught me some much needed lessons in multi-tasking and paying attention to details.
