About me
To briefly describe myself, my name is Abdullahi Adinoyi Ibrahim, born in Okene, Nigeria.
I received his B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria in
2015, and Masters degree in Mathematical science from African Institute of Mathematical
Sciences, Mbour, Senegal in February 2019.
Some of my previous experience includes; working as a teaching assistant at University of Benin in Nigeria, Teacher at Fine trust academy in Abuja, and Data scientist with
Development Bank of Rwanda, Rwanda. Now, working as Assistant Lecturer at the
Department of Mathematics, Baze University, Abuja, Nigeria.
Some projects I had completed previously includes; “Capacitated vehicle routing problem”,
as master’s thesis, and credit rating model during his stay with BRD. The “Credit Rating
Model” was designed for loan applicants. This model was based on machine learning
predictive model to determine if a customer will default or not default, the probability of
default for loan applicant and their ratings, in order to determine if the expected loss loss of a
client does not exceed the threshold. Currently, I’m working on “COVID-19 with machine
learning”, this project will help to understanding the early evolution of COVID-19 disease
spread using mathematical model and machine learning approaches.
In addition, I am a member of some professional bodies which include; Nigeria Mathematical
society (NMS), Data Science Nigeria (DSN), and International Association of Engineers
(IAENG).
Intending students should expect an interactive and friendly teaching environment. My students do come out with flying colours. Quality teaching is assured.
