About me
I graduated from Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, where i obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry in 2013. Since then, I have been teaching different categories of students in different schools. My subject areas have been Chemistry, Biology, Basic Science, Agricultural science and Mathematics (at the Junior levels). I could apply different methods to pass knowledge. It all depends on my students. Usually, a combination of demonstration, lecture and play away methods are employed. I always expect my students to be ready for engagement, be it pre-class, in-class and post-class. One thing about my class is that everybody will understand.
Mathematics - details about teaching experience:
I know students and pupils alike don't seem to enjoy learning Mathematics. One method I do employ is to first create the interest in them, then develop positive mindset in them and patiently teach them in a friendly atmosphere. Formative assessment and post-class activities are what I also employ to test their understanding.
Chemistry - details about teaching experience:
I could apply different methods based on my students. Usually, I always make use of common examples of things around, what students do to make them understand my teaching. At times, I make use of short video to quickly unlock student's understanding of the topic under consideration. One advantage students enjoy from my class is fast learning and versatility.
