About me
I hold a First Class degree in French language from the University of Benin. I was also opportuned to embark on a year abroad program in Togo,this experience further grew and strengthened my love for the French language and its culture. While in school I started private tutoring for little children. During my service year, I was privileged to work with the University of Lagos, European Languages and Integration Studies department, as their head librarian. This also afforded me access to a good number of French books and materials which further helped improve my proficiency. While also interacting with, and learning from well seasoned lecturers, I was able to further improve on my spoken and written French.
I've come to learn over the years, that learning a language is an exciting journey, that so many people don't get to experience for all sorts of reasons, mostly due to the attitude of most French teachers. Students end up thinking the language is boring.
My method of teaching is meant to correct this view, because for me, French isn't just a language that you learn, I believe in learning and teaching the culture and life of the French to make the students begin to see French in the core of their lives.
