About me
I studied English Language & Literature, majoring in Literature at the Lagos State University. I graduated with a Second Class Lowers In 2009. I was given the opportunity by the Director of Studies, Medal Bridge Consult to teach OND(Ordinary National Diploma)1 part-time students the Use of English(interestingly this was the first point of my impacting knowledge to others in any capacity). The subject consists mainly of Grammar and usage. Most students even after graduating from secondary school still have a challenge understanding the elements of grammatical structure. The course is designed to teach the concept of grammar in a very elementary form such that an average student after undertaking the course can identify an adverb as different an adjective. The students are expected to understand the parts of speech, their functions in grammatical construction, Basic Syntactic Analysis of Phrases & Clauses, Structure and Types of Sentences; a grasp of this should reflect in their choice of using apt words in expressing themselves.
