About me
I studied biochemistry in Nasarawa state university,graduated with a second class honours.
I started my teaching career immediately after school where I volunteered in a rural Community in Kwara state on a project aimed at improving the quality of education for three months teaching primary school students how to be active citizens,English language and also Civic Education.
I further taught Biology to Senior School during my service year in Abuja state.
All these broaden my knowledge on teaching that it doesn't have to just be a teacher thing,there should be a room for interaction between the teacher and the pupil and that can be achieved by creating a friendly relationship with the student that can help boost the pupils confidence to speak up and also create a condusive environment for learning.
Also a teacher should be sensitive to know when a child needs a break or is having difficulty in learning.
We all have different learning styles and as a teacher,one should study his/her pupil to know which teaching style is best for the child,is the child a practical,auditory or visual learner and then used that method of teaching for the child.
In an environment where the students are more than one,inclusion is key,all children have equal rights and should also be treated equally.
No favouritism in the class.
Students tend to be repulsive at some point,don't push,pick such student out after the class and speak to him or her in private to know what's wrong,such act tends to creat a friendly relationship.
