About me
I major in primary and pre school,how ever I also have experience in junior as well as senior secondary schools.
I consult with schools to support general education and special education teachers in working with students with special needs by providing professional development on best practices, inclusion, classroom supports, etc.
I work individually with teachers to ensure they are providing each child with the accommodations, interventions, and supports they deserve.
I assist in modifying curriculum and providing resources to promote each child's unique strengths in the classroom.
I will work with staff to inform and promote best practices around inclusion and provide strategies and supports to make students feel most successful in the classroom.
I also consult with families of children with all different learning styles; informing and creating an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) specific to their child’s unique strengths, needs, and goals.
I provide in home services:
To support and coach families on addressing academic, social/emotional and functional needs that will impact academic achievement.
In setting up behavior interventions, supports, and strategies.
Educational therapy to promote your child’s confidence and independence in all areas of their life.
