About me
I did my first degree at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Nigeria, where I bagged the award of Bachelor Degree (BSc.) in Mathematics with a second class upper division and then proceeded to the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria for my master’s degree (MSc.) in applied mathematics where I came top of my class. I possess a postgraduate diploma in Education (PGDE.), I am a licensed teacher issued by teachers registration council of Nigeria with license number LA/R/17614. I am a trained and certified IGCSE mathematics tutor. I have passion and zeal for teaching and learning new things. I am dedicated, honest, hardworking, ambitious, resilient, quick to learn and above all proactive.
I currently work with Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), I doubled as the head of the department of mathematics and also as the mathematics Olympiad tutor and trainer. I have prepared and presented several students for national and international mathematics competitions such as IMO, PAMO and NMC to mention but a few. In the last edition of IMO held in St Petersburg, one of my students was honorably mentioned.
I use effective and efficient methods of teaching (assessment for learning : where students are allowed to be part of their academic development) whilst focusing on the
individual needs of each student.
