About me
Emmanuel Eweje was born on the 4th of April, 1990. He hails from Agbeye, Odo-Otin local government of Osun State. Having discovered his passion for art right from childhood, He went further to study Fine and Applied art from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He served as an apprentice at Nike centre for art and culture, Osogbo where he acquired different skills in Textile art before proceeding to Ife art school. He is a member of the craft potters association of Nigeria (CPAN). He has won different competitions which include Felabration art competition 2021(Grand prize winner), National visual art competition(zonal category winner), Demian art competition 2013, OAUNEXTRATED Star 2013( art category), Leap Africa Art Contest, Akili Dada art competition Nairobi 2017, Ramati art competition 2018 (1st Runner up) as well as a finalist in the Spanish embassy art competition 2015 and 2016 respectively among others
