I am a 21st century, tech-savvy teacher. I am a degree holder (History and Diplomatic Studies). I also have a diploma certificate in Library and information science.
I recently got Diploma in Education from The University of Buckingham.
I have gone through different trainings that made me a great teacher such as:
- Tech-Relevance Teachers Training program
- Jolly Phonics training
- Hybrid Learning: A New Model for the Future of Learning
I have also gone through Mentorship Training and I am currently mentoring other teachers.
I am a 21st century teacher- a tech-savvy teacher who knows different ways of using technology to teach /deliver lessons in a fun way to the children as well as assessing them.
My recent study at Buckingham University opened my eyes to Special Education Needs children I learnt how to help them by breaking information into chunks and their exercises into small units, using games, role-playing, etc.
I use different techniques such as differentiation, scaffolding, student-centered methods in teaching. I set high expectation for all my students and help them in developing growth mindset. These go a long way in how my students understand the subject matter and the results have been amazing.
