About me
I am a graduate of the Federal university of Technology Owerri, Imo state. I also have a Diploma Special Educational Needs from Reed.co.uk and certifications in Child Psychology and Behavioral Management. I first of all carry out an Assessment on child's level of development, his weaknesses and strengths, then draft out an Individual Educational Plan to suit child's needs. From the assessment, I will draft out my work long term and short term goals for the child, make a list of drills and trackers to track child's progress, a visual time table, probs, cues, rhymes, books, hands on resources, audio visuals, listening programmes and other resources that will suit child's needs. Child's parents, teachers and everyone that is incharge of child's daily living is carried along. child is also groomed to be totally independent in other to be able to adapt and do well in this globally changing world. With consistency, firmness and innovativeness being the watch word. I work with children with Neurological challenges like Cerebral palsy, Autism, Down syndrome, speech delay, Global delay, Attention Deficit and Hyperactive Disorders and learning disabilities like Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia and so on, moulding this children into the best they can be.

I use evidence based teaching method (Applied Behavioral Method, Occupational therapy) hands on resources for basic developments in speech and language, physical, social behavior and interaction as well cognitive for children with Neurological challenges and learning disabilities.
