About me
I have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, which, I guess, gives me a good understanding of mathematical concepts. I have also spent the better part of 7 years learning how to be an effective and professional teacher. While doing this, I taught Technical Drawing and Further Mathematics at Dalos College, Ota, Ogun State. I also taught Primary 6 at Sureville Montessori School, Lekki, Lagos.
I prefer to be a facilitator of knowledge, thereby ensuring the student or teaching resources are the centerpieces in the learning process.
I allow students to express themselves, especially in the way they approach the solving of problems. Then I help them to do the right things in regard to steps and presentation. I also assist them to correct mistakes and identify ways to avoid such mistakes subsequently. I never query study materials provided, but advise if need be to acquire other materials. I might decide not to advise, but use the endless materials available online.

Mathematics - details about teaching experience:
I rely on my flexible approach to solving mathematics problems, which can be done mathematically or logically depending on what method suits the student. I make sure to note whether the student needs to be taught or simply assisted. Some students need to be taught from scratch, while others only need to be watched and corrected to ensure they avoid unnecessary mistakes while working. Some children are fond of skipping steps essential to solving math problems.
