About me
I am an experienced and qualified Mathematics teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience across Primary and Secondary levels. I hold a B.Tech in Applied Geophysics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), and I am registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). I have taught Mathematics and Further Mathematics and prepared students for Common Entrance and WAEC examinations.
My teaching approach is student-centred and adapted to each learner's level, pace and learning needs. I explain mathematical concepts step by step, using simple examples, guided practice, questioning, problem-solving and real-life applications. I focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than simply memorizing formulas.
I also have experience teaching learners with different abilities, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and I use differentiated instruction and assessment to support individual learning needs.
Students can expect patient and supportive lessons, clear explanations, plenty of guided practice, constructive feedback and a learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
