About me
I am Henry, a graduate of Gas Engineering Department, University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State. I also have a PGD in Maritime Transport Technology, M. Sc in Logistics and Transport and currently, a PhD in Industrial Engineering in view.
I have a teaching experience spanning 10 years. I have also attended not less than 5 seminars on teaching in the last 4 years.
Apart from teaching being my hobby, I consider it as a platform to mentor the younger generation. In 2017, I counselled not less than 100 JAMB candidates, spending at least 3 hours with each of them and that implies 3000 hours of time talking to them about life and career. I have certificate in Strategic Management of which career and personal development was a major component (of course, this is key as far as the learner is concerned).
When it comes to teaching I give everything because I believe that a learner is as good as his /her tutor. I let my learners advertise me by themselves and not me stressing myself to convince anyone.
This policy of mine has always paid off. It has helped me discover great minds that would have been looked down on, and to rescue the lost ones.
