About me
I have a degree in mechanical engineering which means I am a trained engineer who can help children get the knowledge needed to set them on the path to having an engineering career. Facilitation of knowledge is basically how I approach my tutoring. Considering the time available is always limited, I never try to teach but rather note where the issues militating effective grasping of concepts might be coming from. Hence, I treat the problems without necessarily teaching the concepts being taught in school. A pupil struggling with percentages for examples might actually be having problems with factors and hcf, hence, if I can deal with such a child's understanding of factors and hcf, I strongly believe that grasping the concept of percentages will become easier. My job therefore is to ensure a pupil enjoys school more by helping him or her to demystify the concepts which aren't usually properly taught in school due to time constraints. Also I try to help pupils find their own comfortable approach to solving problems without forcing particular approaches down their throats. This I do by making mathematics as realistic as possible. Helping a pupil understand that concepts in mathematics were developed and affect our everyday life draws them more to the concepts and makes it easier for them to unconsciously find their own ways to arrive at solutions .

While teaching at Dalos college Ota Ogun State, I successfully prepared my WASSCE students for further mathematics and technical drawing. My tutoring journey has majorly been with primary level students who I regularly prepare for common entrance exams. A few times, I have prepared students for the IGCSE exams too.
