About me
I'm a computer graduate from University of Nigeria Nuskka. I did teaching practice training at bariga junior Grammar school, bariga Lagos State as a mathematics teacher for jss 3 classes for two sessions. I tutor mathematics and computer studies to students that are private teacher. I live in Ajao estate Lagos State.
My teaching methods are basically student centered and high-tech.
Student-centered that is teacher and learners become a part of the process in a more or less equal way. The main role is coaching and facilitating student learning, as well as making sure that students understand the material. The learners get their grades through having their student portfolios evaluated and participating in the class. The advantages include: formative evaluation ( evaluating them during the studies to know their level of knowledge on that particular topic or subject matter), students being actively involved in the learning process and also emphasis on the meaningfulness of the knowledge being passed.
High-tech meaning using various means of technology, which helps to organize the learning process and the advantages are; better knowledge retention on the part of the students, active participation of students, and also practice of collaboration skills.
