About me
I will put here my cover letter which speaks volume of my past teaching and work experience.
OVER LETTER
I started my working career on the 2nd of May, 1994 at Victory Academy, Kakuri Kaduna.
I have been privileged to work with the BRITISH COUNCIL through a programme sponsored called CONNECTING CLASSROOMS. The programme involved three schools in the UK, three schools in KENYA and three schools in Kaduna, NIGERIA. This programme involved travelling and visiting each country to share and exchange ideas on Cultural differences and similarities and how to manage our various classrooms better as a Global Teacher, not just as an individual.
Teaching over the years has posed its own challenges but the passion for the job has made it easier to cope with various challenges. I have taught English Language and Phonics from classes JSS 1-3 and SSS1-3, Literature-in-English from SSS1-3 at Victory Academy, Kaduna. I have also taught PHE and Social Studies from JSS 1-3 and Government and CRK SSS 1-2 at First Royal International School, Kaduna.
I was the Head teacher in the Primary Section of the school for three and half years before I left the school when I relocated to Abuja, in 2011, this will attest to the fact that I am a Team Player.
I joined Kingdom Heritage Model School, Kubwa – Abuja, as the pioneer English Language and Phonics Teacher in 2011, and established a standard for teaching the subjects as the school population increased and more teachers were employed.
I worked as a Class and SUBJECT (English language and Phonics) at Zul-Nurain International Academy, Gwarimpa, Abuja.
I also worked as the pioneer teacher of English Language at Beaconsfield Elite Academy, Ushafa, Abuja.
I was the Head Of School at STERN PRIME Academy, Dawaki Abuja.
I have taken part in various Workshops and Seminars in education and other sectors of the economy over the years, both within and outside the country.
I have taught pupils and students preparing for external examinations with high pass rate over the years, and I am confident that whichever organization requires my services would find my contributions immeasurable.
I believe that my experience relating with human beings both old (parents and colleagues) and young (pupils) over the past years will help me to easily cope with the volume of work that may be assigned to me.
I have conducted excursions for pupils and students over the years.
As the Head teacher of First Royal International School, Kaduna, Kingdom Heritage Model School, Kubwa Abuja,Stern PRIME Academy, Abuja, it was my duty to oversee and manage Human, material and financial resources of the school with over one hundred staff including bus drivers and care givers, interface between the school and parents on the one hand, and Board and the staff on the other.
