I am a Biomedical Scientist. I graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge in the United Kingdom. Though, I started my foundation studies with English for Academic Purposes, Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University in the City of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. I do apply seven (7) teaching methods in the course of lesson delivery which include, demonstration, study assessment, lecture, seminar, tutorial, discussion and programmed instruction methods. But each teaching method is determined by the nature of the subject's topic.
Mathematics - details about teaching experience:
I teach Mathematics with passion. I have tutored this subject privately and in secondary schools for 5 years. As a result, identified short solution methods to safe students' time in examinations. I adopt discussion, tutorial, and study assessment methods in teaching this subject. These methods improve students' understanding. Hence, my students gain unique mathematical skills amongst their contemporaries. Most importantly, corrections are done for every assessment question failed.
Biology - details about teaching experience:
As a Biomedical Scientist I am, the subject biology has become part of me. I have studied biology from microscopic to the highest level in medicine. My teaching methods cut across descriptive, lecture, tutorial demonstrative, study assessment and programmed instruction methods. From the aforementioned list of my teaching methods, specific topics are matched with suitable methods of lesson delivery in this subject, making it more interesting for better understanding.
English - details about teaching experience:
My teaching methods include, discussion, study assessment and demonstration methods in terms of phonetics or Oral English. One of the unique advantages of being part of my classes is the express chance of understanding the useful techniques for excellence in International English Language Test System (IELTS) which equally provides one the opportunity to travel to the US, UK, Canada and other developed countries of the world smoothly. I do combine Nigerian and British Curriculum to teach students
Junior classes - details about teaching experience:
In the junior classes, I try as much as I can, to be meticulous and confined my duties of teaching to the subject areas of my key strengths. Hence, I do teach Basic Science, English, Mathematics and CRS at this level. My adopted teaching methods include storytelling, demonstrative, study assessment and slightly logical methods. The unique advantage of being my students at this stage is the certainty of having a solid foundation in sciences. Another merit, is to be a creative thinker.
