About me
As a special educator, I have assessed a child's intelligent quotient using the Slosson Intelligent Scale to determine the child's mental age in order to plan an appropriate program that would meet the child's educational needs. I have offer private therapy sessions to children with cerebral palsy by working on their hand-eye coordination and balancing to help develop a legible handwriting. I have assess and develop an individualized education plan for a child with Intellectual disability. I have to work hand in hand to provide educational needs for a child with down syndrome alongside the child's class teacher. I ensure I carry the class teacher and parents along by giving appropriate advice and tips to bring about a great improvement in the child's special needs. I have offer private sessions to children with intellectual disability working to develop their 3'Rs skills which are; Reading Writing and Arithmetic. Each child's improvement are written down on a weekly basis to keep track of the child's improvement and need for a revised educational plan.
