About me
I am a first-class graduate of Linguistics and Yoruba, AAUA. At the postgraduate level, I studied Linguistics at the University of Ibadan. Over time, I have worked as an English language tutor to college students, and a Yoruba language instructor to graduate students. Also, I translate documents from English to Yoruba language or vice versa.
I make use of the traditional teaching method where knowledge is passed to my students through teachings and classes. In achieving the best results, I am always empathetic with my students and motivate them to learn, hear their complaints, and instruct them appropriately. For beginners in Yoruba language learning, I concentrate more on the articulation of sounds that do not exist in their primary language. Also, I review my students by giving them exercises on the lessons taught, and on topics yet to be taught to boost their inquisitiveness.
While working as a speech tutor for two sets, I prepared college students for senior external examinations and achieved 80/85% success.
