My teaching method followed a project based learning. In experience of teaching other students, I found out most student found theoretical knowledge boring and I had have student telling me theoretical knowledge aren't useful. But theoretical stuff have their applications and that's why I use a project based learning tutorial. Want to create your programming languages, start with a small project like creating a parser. Want to learn networking.
