About me

As an undergraduate student, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration at a reputable university. The program provided a strong foundation in diverse areas of business
While stimulating, after graduating I realized my true passion lay elsewhere - in the creative field of video production and editing. The strong analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills I developed during my business degree have nevertheless proven invaluable in my career as a video editor. The diverse knowledge I gained continues to help me better understand client needs and deliver impactful video solutions.
As a student of business administration, my passion was always video production and editing. After graduating from university, I pursued this passion by interning at a video production company, where I learned the basics of filming and editing. An opportunity arose to further develop my skills when video trainers from New York came to Nigeria to partner with the local film industry. As a video editor, I teach editing techniques using a hands-on, practical approach with monitors.
Teaching Video Editing With Practical, Hands-on Methods
As a video editor, the most effective way I have found to teach video editing is through practical, hands-on methods. Students learn best by doing, not just listening or watching.
The first step is to ensure students are familiar with the necessary equipment, such as video editing software, monitors, keyboards, and peripherals. Students should understand the functions and capabilities of the tools they will be using before embarking on an actual editing project.
