About me
I am an assistant lecturer at Allover Central Polytechnic and a graduate of Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin, Edo State. I am also a tech enthusiast (Data Analyst) who is certified with Google (Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate) and IBM (IBM Python for Data Science, AI, and Development Certificate), which I also tutor skills like Python for data analytics, SQL, Excel, Power BI,Tableau, Intoduction to Programming, Intoduction to Technology, Computer and Internet studies. At Allover Central Polytechnic I lecture on Urban and Regional Planning, Urban Land Use Economics, Rural Land Use Economics, Urban Geography, and Principles of Surveying. I teach with a modern facilitated style, which helps in actualizing the reality of how a topic or content is supposed to be e.g. I work with updated materials and good secondary data when tutoring. I carry out practicals and give students a lot of classwork. I use quizzes as a way of helping students to understand a topic better, and key points as a way of sticking to important rules and points, while also using them in creating a good way for them to understand a topic, this method helps in breaking down complex topics. I also use activities such as group tasks and collaboration to encourage problem-solving and creative application of course content.
