About me
I don't believe in "reinventing the wheel" but rather facilitating when educating young people are involved. The conditions necessary for children to thrive in today's competitive world requires social savvy, STEM literacy as well good old, knuckle down hard work. Growing up and living in a developing country like Nigeria also gives me a unique insight into how the study of biology and STEM in general has a direct impact on sub-Saharan African nations like Nigeria.
As a young person myself who is quite techie and a bit nerdy, it is important that Gen Z-ers recognise the role of science and Biology in shaping the future and also promoting change now. The application of modern scientific knowledge goes beyond the four walls of the classroom and can lead to positive actionable changes within and beyond our immediate localities.
I've worked for an NGO for the best part of four years with particular focus on wildlife conservation in addition to my teaching experience. I constantly interact with young people from diverse backgrounds from pre-teens to teenagers, affluent to poor. I try to make them understand that their choices about our natural environment have short or long term consequences on the planet. Some of the negative impacts of our actions as a species is being felt in the form of global warming and climate change. Therefore it is important to raise young people who are conscious and passionate about our planet and will take steps to save it for future generations.

Mathematics - details about teaching experience:
I can tutor primary, junior and first year senior secondary school students in Maths. I use a Maths education software called MathsWatch which makes topics engaging.

I design teaching aids like charts and/ or PPT
presentations to help the students understand the intricacies of the subject in a simple manner. I taught WAEC/ NECO and IGCSE approaches to biology so as to give them holistic understanding of the subject.

Basic Science involves all of the topics in senior secondary school but at an introductory or elementary level to prepare students for the tougher aspects later on.
I teach my students using videos, pictures, PowerPoint presentations and charts. I believe the best way to demystify science as being tough is to make it appealing to learn.
