About me
I am a Pharmacology, Therapeutics and Toxicology student of the Lagos State University College of Medicine.
Having completed my Secondary Education in the best Federal Government School in Ogun State, I was not only exposed to a standard education, but also to other trainings and extra curricular activities that has helped in improving my teaching skills amongst many other things. One of this trainings is the Steam Camp, organized by the Federal Ministry of Education for female students in Federal Government Schools.
My teaching methods spans between the Socratic method and Interactive method. I tend to use the Socratic method more with my students. It involves me asking open-ended questions in order to enable them discover the answers themselves. This method helps to stimulate their critical-thinking and problem-solving skill.
But for students who aren’t really strong academically yet and are just beginning to find their ground, I tend to use the interactive method with them. In which we both discuss the subjects, and I’m able to guide them in first understanding the core concepts of the topic, before we move to a more advanced method.
All my students know what to expect from me, an improved academic grades, advanced knowledge and a visibly restored confidence in themselves.
