About me
children and the younger generation to help them create and develop their skills as well. His
love for art started at a very young age. He was constantly drawing, painting and frankly, ruining. Not all art generated by a child is going to be beneficial! But from staining a few too
many surfaces at his parents’ house, and his bedroom he grew passionate about his skills.
He took his first step by representing his secondary school in the NATIONAL MUSEUM DAY ART COMPETITION (2002) Where he won and was awarded the MOST DEDICATED ARTIST. 2005 and 2006 respectively, he was the BEST ART STUDENT in his school despite being in science class.
He took the next step and the strongest decision of his life by deciding to be an artist instead of the parental influence of becoming a medical doctor by crossing to Fine and Applied Arts Department in Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho. Where he bagged Bachelors of Technology in Fine and Applied Arts (B.Tech Fine and Applied Arts) in 2015.
Teaching wasn’t immediately on his radar, but it soon followed. He honed his craft while simultaneously expanding his horizons. A love of art grew into a love of helping others with their art, and eventually, teaching others.
After graduation, He worked at House of Bezali, a studio in Lagos. There alongside others he executed lots of projects for the Company which includes the Graffiti design on Ketu-Alalpere Subway, Lamata Bus Terminal, Ikeja and finally The Monumental Graffiti/Mural design for Lagos @ 50 celebration at the Ojodu-Berger Bridge all in Lagos State.
There he realized not all students were children, which actually worked to his benefit. He learned the different patterns necessary to teach students of all ages and skill levels. And just because someone is older does not mean they are more advanced in a specific technique or craft. The balance aided him greatly as He moved to working exclusively with children. Since then, he got more appointments as Art Teacher/Art instructor and Graphic designer
in and across the country.
He is the convener of ABCD (Any Body Can Draw) ART COMPETITION.
His undying zeal gave him an appointment at Roemichs International school that operates international curriculum in Ilorin as a Creative art teacher, where He is able to use his skills to develop young children and teens into becoming productive thinkers and problem solvers through creative imagination. He currently teaches at STEE Schools, FESTAC Town, Lagos state as the Creative Art Teacher for Grades 3-6, Grade 8,10-11. He has lots of certificates and still currently undergoing some online courses to broaden his horizon among which are social media and Learning (National University of Malaysia), Social Media Marketing Foundations, Graphic Design Careers, Social Media Marketing Strategy and Optimization etc.
