I teach students from first principles to understand basic concepts in physics. I then build on that to explain topics with reference to the basic concepts already taught. This has always given my students better understanding of topics by the adoption of this approach. Abstract topics are broken down into bits whereby the students are able to understand them by the use of life applications as instructional aids. Problem solving is treated by adopting the simple to complex approach.

I teach students to acquire drafting and annotation skills which is prerequisite to producing precise technical drawings. I then build on that to teach principles towards obtaining accurate drawings of objects using both manual and computer aided design software (AutoCAD).
