About me
I studied Electrical Electronic Engineering and also have a PGDE with over a decade teaching experience. I have taught grade and high school levels Math/Further Math as well as physics in high school.
I have prepared students for competitions such as ANMC (Turkish Math), Cowbellpedia, Olympiad Math and Physics, National Mathematics Tournament, African Mathematics Olympiad, and other exams like WAEC, NECO, IGCSE, UTME, SAT, etc.
I adopt explicit teaching practices, this ensures that my students know what to do and why. It makes me plan the learning intentions and success criteria to be covered and since I expect my students to have a clear understanding of the concepts covered, they should be able to demonstrate proficiency in solving problems related to those concepts, as well as the ability to apply them in various contexts. Additionally, my students should show improved confidence in their mathematical abilities and be able to articulate their thought processes when solving problems. My regular assessments can help gauge their progress and understanding.
