About me
The teaching methods I use are set induction, closure,stimulus variation, use of examples and illustration, planned repetition, non-verbal communication, reinforcement and questioning.
SET INDUCTION is to stimulate me to think of better ways of preparing his students for learning. In other words, all the activities I perform in order to get learners ready for the oncoming topic may b referred to as set induction.
CLOSURE Just as set induction is beginning a lesson, so also closure is ending a lesson. Pupils or Students gain more when a summary of the main points are given at the end of a lesson.
REINFORCEMENT This is the addition of a pleasant stimulus to an emitted behaviour to ensure the probability of that behaviour being repeated in future circumstance.
NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION This refers to the signals we give with our bodies. They consist of eye movements, facial expressions, gestures, head and body movements. They convey emotions and feelings and they quality the verbal ones which we give in the teaching-learning situation.
STIMULUS-VARIATION Experienced teachers can stimulate imaginative behaviour in Students and enthusiastic and lively teachers produce the greatest pupil involvement and learning by employing stimulus variation in the classroom teaching-learning encounter.
EXAMPLES AND ILLUSTRATION
The use of examples is basic to good teaching-learning situations because, concrete images are important for understanding new concepts. If the teacher cannot provide examples and use illustrations, the students may not be able to comprehend abstract concepts.

This is employed by the teacher to help students remember important ideas or concepts in a lesson. It is true that if a point is emphasized, students will retain it longer.
