About me
My experience as an elementary school teacher has helped developed a passion and personal commitment to three things: fostering a positive learning environment for students with various backgrounds, maximizing individual student performance and developing students' interest in technology. I feel that I am a perfect match for teaching online.
In my most recent position as a teacher, I developed highly effective lesson plans, motivational exercises and effective assessments that promoted interest and knowledge retention. I have also been highly successful in helping children with special needs succeed academically and socially in mainstream classrooms.
I love extra-curricular activities and have been very active in that area, setting up useful activities and implementing them myself for the kids. I am passionate about the Montessori Method of Education, and this has made my activities most suitable for the children I teach. In my work with my students, I stressed critical thinking and applied real-world examples to engage students. I've received calls from parents thanking me for their child's progress thanks to the extra time I spent working with him or her.

I would fully recommend Habiba as a Hausa teacher. She is both personable and professional, with an approach to teaching that is engaging and fun. I am a beginner learner, based in the UK. The lessons with Habiba are very interesting and she is very patient with me. I didn't know anything of Hausa language and although I'm Italian, she has been able to teach to me some words and their pronunciation. In addition, her lessons are always well organised. I suggest you to learn Hausa with Habiba!
